Book Stop and Dr. Seuss

I got an email yesterday from Planning Family with a special offer on Dr. Seuss books. Apparently, March 2 is Dr. Seuss' birthday. Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!!! Aside from that, Read Across America is also celebrated on the same day in honor of Dr. Seuss. I only wish we had a similar event here in Philippines.

Our family just loves Dr. Seuss books, I think most especially Kai. No doubt he'll be reading lots of them to Ziggy as he grows up. I just love it if Ziggy also inherits my love for reading, just like his big sisters. In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, here's a shot of just some of Zoe and Ziya's Dr. Seuss book collection.

Also, I thought this is also the perfect time to launch my Book Stop page, wherein I will share my reading posts, book reviews, fave books, fave book sites....everything and anything to do about books and reading. Please do check it out as I will be updating it every now and then.

I also wanted to share some photos of our bookcase at home. I've been wanting to reorganize everything but just didn't have the time or the energy but I will strive to do it within the next few weeks (or months???). Here's a photo of our common book case at home. Chaotic, right? And to think that I have even more books in storage boxes that I haven't taken out yet.

This is my space on the shelves. Too small if you ask me. I don't even know where to squeeze in my other books.

This is the kids' space. It's too crowded as well and their collection just keeps growing. Boy, I've got a lot to do. Wish me luck!
